What is new for Spring? I do not know about you but I love Spring and Fall too, that is when the styles come out. So spring the flowers the smells, the air just smells different. We have been blessed with a gorgeous January and so far February. Valentines it next Monday, wow already. Oh yah the clothes the shoes the handbags and OMG jewels. I love it all. I had someone in a store (male of course) ask me if I was married. When I said yes he said he felt sorry for my husband and I was high maintenance, and I still bought a sweater from him. What can I say he was not all wrong. I think that when a woman gets dressed and accessorized it should make her feel good. Look in the mirror and say I look hot and have the best day ever. I know not everyday can be that day but we can strive for as many of those as possible. This means we have to love ourselves and be conscious of who we are and what we want to project to the world. I personally have my own style and it is a little funky and fun I think and that is who I am. If you notice this season is full of pastels and soft fabrics as well as some ruffles and lace. Skinny jeans are still in but a comeback that is looking good on everyone is the flare leg, it balances out the body, very cute. Also vintage a huge favorite and a must have to incorporate into your existing style. One thing you should also be aware of because something is in fashion does not mean it is for everyone. I have heard more than one designer say if you could wear in the 70’s you should not be wearing it now. Understood but you can take some of the fashions regardless and make it your own. If you are very conservative, stretch a little and do something crazy and wear a classic long necklace with some color to pop your outfit for day or evening. You know you want to. Take a look at the fashions but bring a friend shopping and make it someone who will tell you the truth, because you do not want to be the one people say “what was she thinking”. Incorporate the new with what is already in your closet. You do not need to buy an entire new wardrobe. If you shop for things that will be in style for a long time and add some fun pieces that are the new flavor of the season you can mix it up and be totally current and not spent all the $$$. The biggest trend is to have fun with what you are wearing, do not be afraid to have fun with it and mix it up and add some flair to your style.
